Kelly Beischel , PhD, RN, CNE
Dr. Kelly Beischel is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Xavier University. Dr. Beischel earned a PhD in nursing with a concentration in nursing education in 2010. She is a member of the Beta Iota and Omicron Omicron chapters of Sigma Theta Tau International. Dr. Beischel is the current chair of the Regional Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Nursing Community. She holds a national certification in nursing education, demonstrating her expertise as an academic nurse educator. Her program of research includes the use of human patient simulation in nursing education as well as teaching safety and quality for healthcare. She has presented her research both regionally and nationally. Dr. Beischel is a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer and leads the quality and safety education in nursing (QSEN) initiative at Xavier.
