Janice Brennan , MS, RN-BC, CNE
Janice Brennan, MS, RN-BC, CNE, has been a nurse educator for over 20 years. She received her BSN and Masters degree from the University of Maryland. She has taught in LPN, ADN, and BSN nursing programs and has been involved in simulation for over eight years. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Caring with Technology at Notre Dame of Maryland University. Janice’s particular area of interest is the use of clinical simulation to support entry level nursing curricula to help learners develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for entry into clinical practice and to bridge the theory-practice gap. She has presented regionally and nationally on Creating the Clinical Experience in a Concept-based Curriculum. She completed a Certificate in Simulation at Drexel University in 2012.
